Didn't have much time today, well, I lie, I did but I filled it riding bikes. So just a simple photo of a pocket watch, had to make sure I got a nice shadow so I had somewhere to put the title.

Another photo in the woods, I should stop. But James was doing an illusion picture, which you can see in the link at the bottom, so I thought I would. As you'll see in the video there were a lot more frames just I couldn't piece them all together and still have it looking good so this is it. No set-up diagram either, partly because I can't be arsed, partly because I can't even remember where the lights were. Oh well.

This Hindu quote was said by Professor Oppenheimer when he was talking about the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. It seriously make you consider, does there come a point when man has too much power or too much knowledge that he becomes his own destroyer? Should we be allowed the power to decide whether millions of people live or die at the click of a button?

Today I headed down to a dark alley and had a great little catch-up with Jake for the first time in 5 years. We talked about physics and maths and cameras and shit, it was good.
Also I completely forgot to do a video whilst I was there so I'll get a short one up tomorrow, just explaining the lighting in more detail if the diagram doesn't do a good enough job.

Sly little Family Guy reference in the name...
I used the flash and an orange gel to create some flare in the top corner, like the sun was setting or such. Managed to break an umbrella as well, stupidass wind.

Seeing as it's prom tomorrow I thought I'd show off the shoes and what seems to be a 4390480 year old polishing kit. Took a while to get lighting I liked in such a small cramped environment. Here's how the lights looked...
